Hi, my name is Chris Adval, and I founded Chris Adval Portraits in 2012. I started my journey in photography in mid-2010 when I knew I wanted to capture the natural beauty this planet gives us every day and in everything. Not just natural beauty, but also slightly enhance it with my skills in post-processing and by working with great creative professionals, such as makeup artists and hair stylists, which bring out a slightly different and better version of you.
Some of you may still want to know more about me, even on a personal level. As you already know, I am a photographer and businessman. What you may not know about me is that I also enjoy video production, graphic design, and web design. Additionally, I love watching a lot of movies and television, which helps me be even more creative and think outside the box in life, especially being a science fiction buff!
Based out of Hazleton, PA, and the northeastern PA region, including Hazleton, Wilkes-barre, Scranton, Hometown, Tamaqua, etc. – USA, I serve all locations around the world with expenses covered.
Studio: Currently, I do not have a studio, so we offer on-location portraits.
Artistic Process: By hiring me for your creative needs, you are getting my eye, creative focus, and direction. I am open to hearing your vision, but please keep in mind that you are also hiring me for my vision on what could look best. We can work together on that vision if we both agree. If you don’t trust in my ability or direction, please remember that I am an artist first. I will not produce imagery I feel is below my quality standards. Part of my artistic process is to consult about the session and direction, then we shoot. Afterward, I look through all the images and provide you with 10-20 proof images (varying based on your package) for you to select from. These images are the very best of the best from our session, and they will be edited at a professional level.
